Event overview
Prove It 5K & 10K takes place on April 18, 2026 at the GM Milford Proving Ground in Milford, MI (3399 General Motors Rd, 48380). The event uses GM’s automobile test track, which is normally closed to the public and opens for this race. The event includes in-person and virtual options and is the first race in the 2026 Trivium Michigan Mega Medal Series; finisher medals from series races connect to form a six-piece mega medal.
Course, events and entry
Distances offered:
- 5K - one lap, 225 feet of elevation gain
- 10K - two laps, 450 feet of elevation gain; USATF-certified
- Double Event - run both distances back-to-back
Additional options include economy (no-frills) entries and virtual 5K, 10K, and virtual double events. Published entry fees include $30 for the 5K, $40 for the 10K, $55 for the Double Event, and separate fees for economy and virtual options. Some prices increase after January 1, 2026, and virtual registration closes April 17, 2026.
Registration includes a custom race shirt, finisher medal, race day photos, post-race food and drinks, and awards. Refund and transfer policies: no refunds within 30 days of the event; prior to 30 days a 50% refund may be requested (processing fees excluded).
