Prove It 5K & 10K - GM Milford Proving Ground
Prove It 5K & 10K takes place April 18, 2026 at the GM Milford Proving Ground in Milford, Michigan (3399 General Motors Rd, Milford, MI 48380). The course opens to runners and walkers one day a year and uses the facility test track.
The course features tree-lined roads, smooth banked curves and rolling elevation. The 5K covers one lap with 225 feet of elevation gain and the 10K covers two laps with 450 feet of gain. Both races are USATF certified.
Available event options include:
- 5K one lap, 225 feet of elevation gain
- 10K two laps, 450 feet of elevation gain
- Double Event run both distances back to back
- Economy packages without race swag
- Virtual 5K, Virtual 10K, Virtual Double
Standard registration items listed by the organizer include a custom race shirt, a finisher medal, race day photos, post-race food and drinks, and unique awards. The Double Event includes a special commemorative item.
Refund and transfer policies are defined by the organizer. No refunds are issued within 30 days of the event. Earlier requests may be eligible for a 50 percent refund excluding processing fees. Entries can be transferred to another individual for a $5 transfer fee but cannot be deferred to another event or year; t shirt size cannot be changed.
