Event overview
The Prove It 5K & 10K takes place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the GM Milford Proving Ground test track in Milford, Michigan (3399 General Motors Rd, Milford, MI 48380). The course runs on the automobile test track that is normally closed to the public. Both distances are USATF-certified. The 5K is one lap with 225 feet of elevation gain. The 10K is two laps with 450 feet of elevation gain. A Double Event is offered to complete both distances.

Virtual registration closes April 17, 2026 (times as noted on the event page). Registration includes a custom race shirt, a finisher's medal, race day photos, post-race food and drinks, and awards.
Refund and transfer rules: no refunds within 30 days of the event; earlier than 30 days a 50% refund may be requested (processing fees excluded). Entries cannot be deferred to another year. Entries may be transferred to another individual for a $5 transfer fee; T-shirt size cannot be changed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
