Carpe Diem - Carpe Noctem Half Marathon and 10K
Trivium Racing holds the Carpe Diem - Carpe Noctem trail races at Proud Lake State Recreation Area in Michigan on April 3, 2027. The event uses maintained, marked trails for both daytime and evening running. Organizers offer separate morning and evening races and a double option that combines both events; completing both day and night races yields two medals that connect into one combined medal.

Morning races take place entirely in daylight. Evening races occur around sunset and may include sections run after dark. Trails are described as well groomed and clearly marked for use in both light and low light conditions.
The event has a refund and transfer policy. No refunds are issued within 30 days of the event. Requests made earlier than 30 days may be eligible for a 50% refund of the entry fee, excluding processing fees. Entries cannot be transferred or deferred to another event or year. Entries can be transferred to another person for a $5 fee; T-shirt size cannot be changed. If the race is canceled for reasons beyond the control of the race director or committee, refunds will not be made but race packets, including shirts, will be made available at a location to be determined.
