Michigan Made Run
The Michigan Made Run takes place in Milford, Michigan, and features multiple race distances starting and finishing at Central Park. The event includes the following distances:
- Half Marathon
- 10 km
- 5 km (run/walk)
The courses are designed as out-and-back routes. Participants navigate a mix of surfaces, including the paved Milford/Kensington trail and dirt back roads located in Milford. All events have a cumulative time limit of 3 hours, meaning the course is supported and participants are scored until 11:00 am.
Participants in all categories receive a custom hoodie, a finisher medal, and refreshments. Awards are presented to the overall top male and female finishers in each race based on the order of finish. Age group awards are also provided to the top three finishers in categories ranging from ages 1-9 to 80+ based on chip timing.
The course features four aid stations that participants pass multiple times. For the longest distance, these stations provide water or a combination of water and Gatorade at intervals near miles 1, 2.5, 4, 6.5, 9, 11, and 12. Strollers are permitted on the course for all event distances.
Facilities such as bathrooms, water, and registration are located near the start line. Due to limited parking at Central Park, attendees may find parking behind local businesses in downtown Milford or on side streets. The race routes remain open to the public during the event.
