Prince William's Seat
Prince William's Seat is a mountain running event held in County Wicklow, Ireland, covering a distance of approximately 9.37 kilometers with a climb of 405 meters. The course features moderate difficulty terrain with only major junctions marked, and GPS use is permitted. Participants must carry mandatory safety kit including waterproof jacket, hat or buff, gloves, whistle, charged mobile phone, and emergency blanket or bivvy bag.
A new route is introduced this year, along with a junior route of about 3.5 km. The event fosters a supportive atmosphere with prize giving at a local rugby club, and parking donations support cancer charity. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
