Preston Fast 5 Road Race : Preston

The Preston Fast 5 Road Race is a 5K held on Wednesday 20th May 2026 at the University of Lancashire Sports Arena in Preston. The course is traffic free, flat and consists of three laps on a one mile lap cycle track with no tight corners. The course is described as accurately measured and the event is presented as a no frills, no fuss race with no prizes.

The event is organised by Preston Harriers - Fast5 and is one of four Wednesday evening races held during the spring and early summer. There are two separate races on the evening, split by target times: a sub 18:00 race and an over 18:00 race. Each race has an entry limit of 60 and the minimum age on the day is 16 years.

Entries are handled through the SiEntries online system; entries open on Wednesday 1st April 2026 and close on Monday 18th May 2026. Entry fees listed are £7.00 for UKA members and £9.00 for non members. There are toilet facilities at the Sports Arena.
