Preston Fast 5 Road Race
The Preston Fast 5 Road Race is a 5K held at the University of Lancashire Sports Arena in Preston. The course is traffic free, flat, and consists of three laps on a 1 mile lap cycle track with no tight corners. The course is described as accurately measured and the event is run with no prizes.
The race is organised by Preston Harriers and forms part of a series of four Wednesday evening races held during the spring and early summer. On the event date there are two seeded races per evening: Race 1 for runners targeting under 18:00 minutes and Race 2 for runners targeting over 18:00 minutes, each with an entry limit of 60. The minimum age is 16 on the day of the race. Entries open on Wednesday 1 April 2026 and close on Monday 18 May 2026. Entry fees are listed as UKA Member £7.00 and Non Member £9.00.
