Central Lancashire Junior & Super Sprint Duathlon
The Central Lancashire Junior & Super Sprint Duathlon takes place at UCLAN Sports Arena in Preston and is organised by MCA Fitness & Events. The event features a full range of junior age group categories plus sprint and super sprint options. All junior races take place within the sports arena grounds, away from traffic. Participants must have a safe bike, a helmet and trainers. All races are chip timed.
The event uses UCLAN facilities, including a Crit track and a new athletics track. On site parking is available. Finish line photos are taken and finishers receive a McA series medal. Water stations and sweets are provided. On the day entry fees range from £20 to £40 depending on category.

- Super Sprint: 2 km run, 12 km bike, 2 km run
- Sprint: 4.8 km run, 19.5 km bike, 3.2 km run
- TriStart (age 8): 400 m run, 1.5 km bike, 200 m run
- TriStar 1 (ages 9 and 10): 1200 m run, 3 km bike, 400 m run
- TriStar 2 (ages 11 and 12): 1500 m run, 6 km bike, 600 m run
- TriStar 3 (ages 13 and 14): 2 km run, 7.5 km bike, 800 m run
