Spring Farm Yard Five
The Spring Farm Yard Five takes place on Thursday 14th May 2026 at Farm Yard Brew Co, Gulf Lane, Lancaster, LA2 0ER. The event starts and finishes at the brewery and uses an accurately measured 5 Miles course that runs along Gulf Lane with views over open countryside and the Trough of Bowland hills.
A beer stocked aid station will be available at the halfway point; water is optional at that station. All entrants' names will be placed into a draw on the day for six cans of Farm Yard Brew Co beers. No medals will be handed out at the finish; finishers receive a voucher for a free pint of beer or a soft drink.
The tap room will be open for runners and spectators and a street food vendor will be present. The entry fee includes medical cover, the beer aid station, beer to all finishers, friendly marshals, free parking, and an event held under a road running licence. The organiser also describes the course as a fast flat course. Entry fees are listed as 5 Miles £18 affiliated and £20 unattached. A combined entry for all three Farm Yard Five races in 2026 is offered at reduced rates of £48 affiliated and £54 unattached. This event is the first in a series of three beer runs in 2026, which also includes the Summer Farm Yard Five and Festive Farm Yard Five.
