About the race
Southport Triathlon and Multisport takes place on 16 May 2027 at Waterside Lodge on Marine Drive in Southport. The event is based on Southport Marine Lake, with the swim in the lake, a closed-road cycle course and a run route on tarmac paths around the lake. The venue includes a modern, two-storey activity centre at Waterside Lodge. Events on the day include sprint and standard distances across multiple disciplines: - Triathlon Sprint: 750m swim / 20k cycle / 5k run - Triathlon Standard: 1500m swim / 40k cycle / 10k run - Duathlon Sprint: 5k run / 20k cycle / 5k run - Duathlon Standard: 10k run / 40k cycle / 5k run - Aquathlon Sprint: 750m swim / 5k run - Aquathlon Standard: 1500m swim / 10k run - Aquabike Sprint: 750m swim / 20k cycle - Aquabike Standard: 1500m swim / 40k cycle Relay categories are offered for several events.
All competitors must hold British Triathlon membership or purchase a single-use Race Pass to compete. Early entry discounts apply for the first 100 entrants. Entries close at noon on the Friday before the event or when the event fills, whichever occurs first. Entries include a finisher's medal; swim-based events also include a swim cap, and event photographs are free to download. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
