Prefix Charity 5K Fun Run & Car Show
The Prefix Charity 5K Fun Run & Car Show is an annual community event held in Rochester Hills, Michigan. This third annual edition features a patriotic theme, with costume awards presented to participants. The event starts and finishes at the Prefix facility on South Livernois and utilizes the adjacent Clinton River Trail for the course.
Participants can choose from two distances:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Run/Walk
The 5K course includes a dedicated water station. Awards are provided for the top male and female finishers in the 5K category, while all children under the age of 10 receive finisher certificates. Early participants are recognized, as swag bags are provided for the first 150 registrants.
The event transitions into a post-race celebration featuring a car show, where awards are also distributed. The finish line is designed as a photo finish that passes through the car show display. On-site amenities include food trucks, an ice cream truck, and a beer tent. Entertainment is provided by a live band, and attendees can participate in a 50/50 raffle.
