Dragon Trails Triathlon (Sprint) : Lake Orion, MI
The Dragon Trails Triathlon is the third annual sprint triathlon held in Lake Orion, Michigan on September 13, 2026. The event includes open water swimming, off-road cycling, and trail running across local parks and preserves.

The course is composed of a .75K (.46 mile) freshwater swim in Tommy’s Lake, 20K (12.4 miles) of mixed terrain biking that passes through Bald Mountain, the Polly Ann Trail, and Orion Oaks County Park, and a 5K (3.1 miles) run on the forested trails of Camp Agawam. Organizers limit total registration to 100 participants.
Registration opens October 21, 2025 at 13:00 and closes September 12, 2026 at 23:59. Fees listed for 2026 entries are $100.00 for the sprint solo entry and $180.00 for the sprint relay entry. All registrants receive a swim cap, event shirt, pre run fuel options, on course nutrition, and a drink ticket to use in the "Dragons Lair" after the race.
