The PortRun Half Marathon & 5K takes place in Newburyport, Massachusetts, with start and finish at RiverWalk Brewing Co., 40 Parker St, Newburyport, MA 01950. The event includes the following distances:

Course, services and entry details
The half marathon has six aid stations offering water and Gatorade approximately every two miles. The 5K has an aid station near mile 1.5. Roads remain open to traffic and local police will help monitor traffic. Portable restrooms are provided at the start/finish and along the course. Bib and race swag are available on race day only. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in five-year age groups and must be picked up at the awards tent; awards will not be mailed. Per USATF rules, gun times are used for scoring.
Additional offerings listed for participants include race shirts, finisher medals, a race bag, armband phone holder, free race photos, GPS runner tracking via RaceJoy, finish line refreshments, and on-course hydration and nutrition.
