Jingle Bell Half Marathon & 5K : Haverhill, MA

The Jingle Bell event on December 6, 2026 in Haverhill, Massachusetts includes a half marathon and a 5K that run from the Northern Essex Community College campus through nearby roads and countryside.

The half marathon follows a picturesque figure-eight loop beside the Merrimack River and includes a first loop that overlaps the 5K course through the college campus. Roads will remain open to local traffic; course marshals and local police will be present along the route. There are five aid stations at miles 2.4, 5, 6.8, 9.3, and 11.4 offering water and Gatorade, and portable toilets will be available at each aid station.

Parking is available at Northern Essex Community College with attendants directing vehicles into designated lots. Some lots will have restricted exits until nearby roads reopen, and participants are encouraged to minimize on-site vehicle numbers. Early packet pick-up will be held the day before the race in the Sports and Fitness Center gymnasium; day-of packet pick-up will also be available at the Sports and Fitness Center on race morning.

A post-race party at the college will feature hot beverages, bagels, doughnuts, and other holiday treats. Awards will be given at the post-race party to top overall finishers and to age group winners in the published categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
