Happy Holidays Half MerryThon & 5K : December 7, 2025
The event takes place on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at Good Harbor Beach, 100 Thatcher Road, Gloucester, MA 01930. It includes two race distances and a coastline course with ocean views. The half marathon is USATF certified (13.1) and the event is USATF sanctioned. RaceJoy phone tracking and live GPS progress alerts are available for participants who carry a phone.

Logistics, awards and amenities
Parking is available at the start/finish area. Bib and race swag pick-up is on race day only. The 5K has an aid station with water near mile 1 and portable restrooms at the start/finish. The half marathon has six aid stations near miles 1, 2.5, 5.5, 7.5, 10.5 and 12, and portable restrooms near miles 2.5 and 10; there is a short unpaved section of about 1/4 mile near miles 2.5 and 10.5. Roads remain open to traffic and local police will help monitor traffic. Bag check is not available.
Finisher medals are given to all finishers. Award medals are given to the top three male and female finishers in age groups: Overall, 19 & Under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+. Awards must be picked up on site; they will not be mailed. Per USATF rules, gun times are used for scoring.
Features and race items include name-on-bib (by specified date), choice of M/F holiday shirt, holiday hat option, finisher medals, drawstring backpack, finish-line refreshments, fresh pizza and baked treats, free race photos, GPS runner tracking, finisher certificate, free training plans, team discounts, and registration protection. Registration runs from November 1, 2025, through December 7, 2025. The listed fees are $49 for the 5K (kids 10-12 price shown as $10) and $99 for the half marathon. Volunteers earn a free race entry.
