Portland 10 Miler - April 25, 2027
The Portland 10 Miler is the ninth running of a coastal 10 mile road and path race around Portland, Maine. The course starts and finishes in Edward Payson Park in Back Cove and runs along Back Cove, Munjoy Hill and the Eastern Promenade, offering coastal city views throughout.
Packet pick-up and registration are available the day before and the day of the race, with locations at Rising Tide Brewery and Edward Payson Park. Registered participants receive a race bib with a timing chip and an athlete shirt at pick-up. Onsite registration is available on both days. All participants must show a photo ID at pick-up; picking up for others requires a copy or photo of that ID.
Parking is provided at suggested locations on a first-come, first-served basis, including the Edward Payson Park lot and neighborhood street parking on Washington Avenue and Presumpscot Street. Organizers note that parking is limited. There is no secured gear storage; a small open air area at registration will hold loose items, and participants are advised to leave belongings in vehicles or with companions.
A finisher's medal is given to all participants. Post-race awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers and to the top finisher in each age group (Under 19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-80, 80+).
