Port City Run
The Port City Run takes place in downtown Frankfort, Michigan on October 10, 2026. The event returns in 2026 with a new autumn schedule and is held alongside the Frankfort Fall Festival and Craft Fair, combining a community run/walk with local craft and festival activities.
The primary race is a 5K run. Awards in the 5K will be presented to the top overall, master and grand master male and female finishers. Additional awards will be given to the top place in 14 age-group divisions: 0-14, 15-20, 21-25, 26-30, 31-35, 36-40, 41-45, 46-50, 51-55, 56-60, 61-65, 66-70, and 70+.
Pre-race packet pickup is scheduled at StormCloud Brewing on Friday, October 9 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM; registered participants receive $2 off coupons from the brewery. Race day packet pickup will take place in Open Space Park beginning one hour before the race; look for the CHECK IN wind banner.
Registration for the 5K opens May 20, 2026 and closes October 5, 2026. The registration fee is $29.00. Funds raised from the event support the Frankfort-Elberta Area varsity cross country and track programs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
