Port City Run
The Port City Run returns to downtown Frankfort on October 10, 2026, timed to coincide with the Frankfort Fall Festival and Craft Fair. The event is staged on Main Street and is presented as a run/walk open to the public.
The primary distance offered is 5K. Awards in the 5K race will be given to top overall, master, and grand master male and female finishers. Awards are also planned for top places in 14 age-group divisions, including 0-14, 15-20, 21-25, 26-30, 31-35, 36-40, 41-45, 46-50, 51-55, 56-60, 61-65, 66-70, 70-75, 76-80, 80 +.
Pre-race packet pick up is scheduled at StormCloud Brewing on Friday, October 9; StormCloud will provide $2 off coupons to registered participants. Race day packet pick up will take place in Open Space Park, with a marked check-in area.
Registration opens May 20, 2026 and closes October 5, 2026. The registration fee is $29.00. Funds raised from the event will support the Frankfort-Elberta Area Varsity Cross Country and Track programs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
