Kick-yer Assparagus 5km Fun Run Walk
The event takes place on 06/06/2026 at The Pavilion at Empire Beach, 11260 S Lake Michigan Dr, Empire, MI 49630. It offers two separate 5 km options: a fun run and a fun walk. Registration for the run opens 04/10/2026 and closes 06/05/2026 with a fee of $40. Registration for the walk opens 04/10/2026 and closes 06/06/2026 with a fee of $20.
The course begins at the pavilion on the shore of Lake Michigan, proceeds onto Lake Street, and climbs Wilco Road to the trailhead of the Empire Bluff Trail. Participants make a U-turn at the trailhead and return downhill, following course arrows and volunteers through the neighborhoods of Empire back to the pavilion.
