Event information
The Poquott Community Association 5K Run/Walk takes place on September 27, 2026 in Setauket, NY at California Park (72 Washington St., East Setauket, NY 11733). The event is held rain or shine and includes two distances:
- 5K
- 400 m dash (kids)
All 5K participants will receive a shirt and a medal. The first 30 dash participants will receive a t-shirt. The event offers live online, text, and email results, free finish line photos, and personalized bibs for runners who register at least three weeks before race day. The beneficiary is The Village of Poquott.
Registration and logistics
The listed 5K registration fee is $33.80 (includes processing fee); the 400 m kids dash is free. The 5K is capped at 50 registrants. Registration materials note that fees are non-refundable and require agreement to a standard race waiver and media release. Purchase Protection is offered as an optional service to refund registration for certain qualifying unforeseen circumstances.
On race day, bib pickup is handled by event staff beginning at 9AM. Parking is available on Harrison Avenue and a golf cart shuttle will be available.
