Event Overview
The Poquott Community Association 5K Run/ Walk is a community-focused sporting event held in Setauket, NY, at California Park. The proceeds from the event benefit the Village of Poquott. This event takes place rain or shine and offers two distinct distances for participants:
- 5K Run/ Walk
- 400 Meter Dash
The 5K event is capped at 50 registrants. Participants in this distance receive a shirt and a medal. Those who register at least three weeks before the event date will have their name printed on their bib. The 400 Meter Dash is an untimed event designed for children, and the first 30 participants to register for this distance receive a t-shirt.
Participant Information
The event provides several digital amenities, including live results sent via text or email and free finish line photos. Results and video are available online on the day of the race. All registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, as they are used to cover race expenses.
Bib pickup begins one hour before the event starts. Participants can use a self-lookup system to find their bib numbers. Those who register within 24 hours of the event will receive their bib number via text message shortly after signing up.
