The Poppy Love 5K - "In Memory of Poppy" takes place on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at JL Mitch #5 Pavilion, 1501 W. Covell Rd., Edmond, OK 73003. This is the fourth annual running of the event. The race raises funds to provide financial assistance to Oklahoma-based rescues and to support local animal rescue work. Dogs are permitted to join participants on course or at the venue.

Registration and logistics
Entry fees listed for the events are: 5K - $35, 1 Mile - $25, Virtual 5K - $30. Registration prices increase after April 15, 2026 at 11:59pm CDT.
Participants who register by May 15, 2026 will receive a race t-shirt and a swag bag. Registrations after May 16, 2026 or on race day will not include a runner's bag or t-shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
