The OKC Turkey Trot takes place on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2026, in downtown Oklahoma City. The event offers multiple race options and a Kids’ Trot designed for younger participants.

Registration for the live event includes an exclusive Turkey Trot hoodie for adult runners, a comfortable youth tee for Kids’ Trot participants, a commemorative finisher medal, and free finisher photos. Races are professionally timed and the course is professionally managed. A pre-feast celebration and a post-race party take place near the finish area, where participants can pick up a baked pie snack.

A costume contest is part of the day; winners are decided by the crowd and the first place costume prize is a Thanksgiving pie. The event also offers a virtual participation option for those who cannot attend in person.
