Pontesbury Hill Fell Race is a short fell race on a new course introduced in 2024 and forms part of the Shropshire summer series. The route covers 6 km with a total ascent of 354 m and is listed in category AS.
Entry is available by pre-entry or on the day. Entry fees are £7 for pre-entry and £10 on the day. Registration is located near Pontesbury School, SY5 0TG. There are toilet facilities in the school.
Limited parking is available; participants are asked to share transport where possible and to park sensitively to avoid disturbing local residents. A junior race is also held on the same evening.
