The 44th Annual Polar Bear Winter Classic takes place on February 28, 2026, in Indianapolis, IN. The event moves to a new location starting from the Fowling Warehouse at 1125 E Brookside Ave d9, Indianapolis, IN 46202. The race program includes in-person and virtual options. Registration, fees and awards

Standard entry fees shown are $40 for the 5K, $45 for the 5 Mile, and $50 for The Bear. Virtual entries are listed at $40 - $50. Fees increase after December 7, 2025 at 11:59 pm EST. Runners registered before February 1 receive a finisher medal and a "Wear the Bear" winter hat; optional long-sleeve shirts and hoodies are available as add-ons.
