Wheeler Mission Drumstick Dash

The Wheeler Mission Drumstick Dash is a traditional Thanksgiving morning sports event held in the Broad Ripple neighborhood of Indianapolis. This event marks its 24th annual occurrence in 2026. The primary objective of the run and walk is to generate proceeds that support programs and services for men, women, and children experiencing homelessness within the local community.

Participants can choose from three distinct event formats:

The on-site activities take place at 1426 Broad Ripple Ave. For those unable to attend the physical location in Indianapolis, the virtual race option allows for participation from different locations. The event provides an opportunity for community members to engage in physical activity while contributing to social services for vulnerable populations.
