Plymouth Triathlon
Plymouth Triathlon takes place at Mount Edgcumbe, Cremyll, Torpoint (PL10 1HZ) on 6 June 2027. The event programme includes triathlon distances, separate open-water swims and associated trail races the day before.
The sea swim is described as sheltered with land on both sides. The bike courses use rolling roads and offer sea views. The run legs are traffic-free, based on a 5 km lap inside the Mount Edgcumbe grounds and include sections of coast path.
Distances
- Middle: 1.9 km swim, 90 km bike, 20 km run
- Standard: 1500 m swim, 40 km bike, 10 km run
- Sprint: 750 m swim, 20 km bike, 5 km run
Swim-only distances
- 3 km, 1500 m, 750 m
Event services and facilities include professional chip timing, numbered racking and secure transition, professional first aid and water safety, fully marked and marshalled courses, finishers' medals plus podium medals, professional event photography, free Sportiva swim hats and a water bottle, personalised race numbers, public liability insurance and a British Triathlon permit. Camping is available in the Mount Edgcumbe grounds for multiple nights with prebooking advised. Paid parking is available locally; a foot ferry serves the site.
