Event overview
Plymouth Triathlon is scheduled for 14 June 2026 at Mount Edgcumbe, Cremyl. The event is organised by Sportiva Events and is British Triathlon registered. The sea swim is sheltered with land on both sides. The bike course runs on rolling roads with sea views. The run uses a 5K lap around the grounds of Mount Edgcumbe. The event provides professional chip timing, medals for finishers, silicone swim hats and an event t-shirt. Professional first aid and water safety are provided. The course is fully marked and marshalled, with public liability insurance, feed stations and water and energy drinks served in biodegradable paper cups.
Race distances and entry
- Middle Distance - 1900 m swim, 90 km bike, 20 km run
- Standard Triathlon - 1500 m swim, 40 km bike, 10 km run
- Standard Aquabike - 1500 m swim, 40 km bike
- Sprint Triathlon - 750 m swim, 20 km bike, 5 km run
Entry ages and fees: Middle Distance open to entrants aged 18 and over on 31/12/2026 (£130); Standard and Standard Aquabike open to entrants aged 17 and over on 31/12/2026 (£75 and £65 respectively); Sprint open to entrants aged 15 and over on 31/12/2026 (£60).
Location and access
Foot passengers with or without bikes can use the Cremyl Ferry to reach Mount Edgcumbe. The Torpoint Car Ferry is an alternative, or participants can drive via a short route into Cornwall. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
