Race The Light

"Race The Light" is an annual trail running event organized by OuterEdge Events, set to take place at Mothecombe on the Erme Estuary. The event features an 8.5-mile race through the Flete Estate, including two crossings of the River Erme estuary, making it a race against both the light and the tide. Participants will start at Coastguards Beach and finish with a challenging uphill climb.

Additionally, there is a half marathon option that extends the classic route by 5 miles, incorporating scenic South Hams trails. Each finisher receives a bespoke medal. The event is held under England Athletics rules. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
