Event overview

The Pisgah Farms & Furlongs race takes place on May 30, 2026 in Versailles, KY at Ashbrook Farm. The event offers the following options:

Registration for the in-person races is capped at a combined 600 participants, and the 5K has a registration cap of 75. There is an in-person packet pickup on Friday, May 29 from 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm at Pisgah Presbyterian Church. Virtual registration closes May 29, 2026.

Course and race features

The half marathon route runs through four Central Kentucky horse farms: Ashbrook, Newtownanner Stud, Buck Pond, and WinStar. The 10K route runs through Ashbrook and WinStar and includes a one-mile loop through WinStar Farm. The 5K is a 1.55 mile out-and-back with a turnaround on Pisgah Pike in front of Ashbrook Farm. Both the half marathon and the 10K are 100% on paved roads. Elevation change is listed as 833 feet for the half marathon and 322 feet for the 10K.

Hydration and support: the half marathon has multiple hydration stations; water and Shaklee Performance Hydration are provided in 5 oz cups and no gels are supplied. The 10K has four hydration stations serving water and Gatorade; the 5K route passes two water stops.

Race features include commemorative performance shirts, custom finishers' medals, free race photos, age-group awards in five-year divisions for the half and 10K, and overall top-3 awards for the 5K. The race is presented by the Pisgah Community Historic Association; 100% of proceeds support preservation of the Pisgah historic district, which was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.
