About the race
The Pisgah Farms & Furlongs Half Mare-athon, 10K, and 5K is a scenic running event held in Versailles, Kentucky, showcasing the heart of Bluegrass Country. The half marathon course uniquely runs through four renowned Central Kentucky horse farms: Ashbrook, Newtownanner, Buck Pond, and WinStar, while the 10K route covers Ashbrook and WinStar Farms. The 5K is a shorter out-and-back course near Ashbrook Farm.
The event features commemorative shirts, custom finisher medals, free race photos, and horse country-inspired awards. Capped at 600 participants for an optimal experience, the race supports historic preservation of the Pisgah community and offers hydration stations along paved routes with moderate elevation changes.
