Great Santa Run 5K
The Great Santa Run 5K is scheduled for December 13, 2026, at Park Place in Leawood (11549 Ash Street, Leawood, KS). The event supports Operation Breakthrough; a portion of registration proceeds and 100% of meal ticket sales will be donated to the charity.
Event formats include:
- 5K
- Kids Run
- Virtual 5K (shipping, shirt, and medal included for $45)
All 5K participants receive a finisher medal. Participants may add a long sleeve event shirt for $9. Registration fees for the 5K increase by date, with advance rates as low as $26 and a packet pickup day and race day fee of $38; all fees are nonrefundable.
Packet pickup details are to be determined. If shirts and medals are not picked up at packet pickup or at the event, there is no guarantee of availability in every size afterward.
Awards include top overall male and female and top masters male and female (age 40+). Additional awards will be given to the first, second, and third males and females in each age group, including 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80+.
Registrants are asked to bring a $10 unopened, unwrapped toy for Operation Breakthrough; each toy donor receives a raffle ticket and prizes will be drawn after the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
