Great Santa Run 5K : Park Place, Leawood
The Great Santa Run 5K is a holiday fundraising race held at Park Place in Leawood, Kansas. The event takes place on December 13, 2026 and supports Operation Breakthrough; a portion of registration proceeds and all meal ticket sales are donated to the charity. Participants are asked to bring a $10 unopened, unwrapped toy for local children; each toy donor receives a raffle ticket and raffle prizes are drawn after the race.

All in-person entrants receive a red Santa hat and a large finisher medal. Registration can include a long sleeve shirt or a hoodie depending on the chosen option. Registration fees vary by registration window and by apparel option; all fees are non refundable. Packet pickup details are to be determined and shirts may not be available in all sizes after packet pickup or race day.
Awards are given to Top Overall Male and Female and Top Masters Male and Female (40+). Age group awards are presented to first, second and third place males and females across age groups from 10 and under through 80 and over.
