Pirate Booty Dash 5K Run/Walk/FunRun
The Pirate Booty Dash is an annual event supporting the Napoleon Athletic Boosters. It features a professionally timed 5K run/walk on a rural course through the village of Napoleon. The route goes through a local park, around pastures, and around the perimeter of Camp Store. A separate 1/2 mile fun run is for participants age 10 and under.
The event offers several registration categories:
- 5K Run/Walk - Adults
- 5K Run/Walk - Students (age 20 and under or registered at any high school or college)
- 1/2 Mile Fun Run - Age 10 and Under (free, without a shirt)
- 1/2 Mile Fun Run - Age 10 and Under with shirt
Pre-registration pricing is available until a specified date, with student rates offered. T-shirts are guaranteed for those registered by a certain deadline, with supplies limited afterwards. Race day registration is available at a higher rate without a shirt guarantee.
Awards are given for the overall male and female winners, master winners (over 40), and the top three in each age group. Parking is at the Ezra Eby Elementary parking lot. Early packet pick-up is available on the evening before the race in front of Napoleon High School, with race day packet pick-up starting in the morning.
