Grow Jackson Groundhog Gallop : overview
The Grow Jackson Groundhog Gallop is scheduled for Saturday, February 7, 2026, in Jackson, MI (2400 4th Street, 49203). The event is organized by Grow Jackson, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) focused on ending food insecurity through community gardens and food rescue. Proceeds will fund a farm vehicle and farming equipment to expand local food growing operations for Summer 2026 initiatives.

Entry fees: $30 through January 25, 2026; $35 afterward; $40 on race day (no shirt). A $5 per-person discount applies when registering three or more people together. Donations of $100 can be applied for a free entry (conditions apply). Long sleeve shirts are guaranteed for registrations by January 16, 2026; additional shirts available while supplies last.
Logistics and awards
Early packet pickup is Friday, February 6 from 3:30 to 5:30 PM at the Lean Rocket Lab (133 W Michigan Ave). Race day packet pickup begins at Parkside at 8:30 AM. Parking is available at Parkside with overflow at Ella Sharp Golf Course and Ella Sharp Park. No dogs are permitted, except service dogs. The Michigan Running Foundation will provide professional timing; live results will be available on the event website. Prizes will be given to the top three in each age group and to overall, masters (40+), and senior masters (60+) for both run and walk events.
