The Jackson YMCA 4th Annual Shamrock Shuffle takes place on March 14, 2026, in downtown Jackson, Michigan. The event includes the following distances:
- 5k Run
- 5k Walk
- Kids Run (free)
The course runs through downtown Jackson. A course map and a separate map for the kids run are provided by the organizer. This race is part of the 2026 ORS Race Series; ORS is listed as the series title sponsor.
Registration and logistics
Registration opens January 1, 2026. Entry pricing and T-shirt guarantees are tiered: $20 per participant through January 15 (T-shirt guaranteed), $25 through February 28 (T-shirt guaranteed), $30 from March 1 to March 13 (no shirt guaranteed), and $40 on race day (no shirt guaranteed). The Kids Run is free but requires registration. Packet pickup is scheduled on March 13 at the Jackson YMCA, 127 W. Wesley St., with two pickup windows that day. Additional packet pickup will be available at the race location on race day.
Awards and proceeds
The 5k Run and 5k Walk will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation, with live results during the event and posted afterward. Overall prizes are listed for male and female winners, plus Masters (40 and over) and Senior Master (60 and over) divisions for both run and walk. Age-group awards go to the top three in each listed category for men and women in both events. Proceeds support the Jackson YMCA FOR ALL program and will be used to help youth, adults, seniors, and families access YMCA programs such as swim lessons, after-school programs, and chronic disease prevention programs.
