Event
The FSCA 5k takes place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, in Jackson, Michigan. The event uses the Falling Water Trail and starts at Middle School at Parkside, 2400 4th St, Jackson, MI 49203. The program includes these distances and events:
- 5k - Run
- 5k - Walk
- Kids Fun Run - all kids receive a medal
Registration opens January 1, 2026. Early pricing and later pricing windows are listed; a New Years Day special price applies through mid-January, with higher fees closer to race day. Register by April 5 to be guaranteed a t-shirt while supplies last. Packet pickup is available before race day and on race morning.
Awards and logistics
Overall awards will be given to the top male and female finishers in Open (all ages) and Grand Masters (50+) for both the 5k Run and 5k Walk. Age group awards for the 5k Run are top three in each of these groups: 0-12, 13-14, 15-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85+. 5k Walk age groups are 0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. Team/family division awards use the average of the two fastest team times.
The race is chip timed by the Michigan Running Foundation and will publish live results. Dogs are not permitted at the event, with service dogs excluded from the restriction. Proceeds benefit Family Service & Children’s Aid. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
