FSCA 5k - 24th Annual Family Service and Children's Aid 5K RUN and WALK
The event is the 24th annual Family Service and Children's Aid 5K run and walk in Jackson, MI. The start and finish are at Middle School at Parkside and the course takes place on the Falling Water Trail. The listed event options are:

- Kids Fun Run
Overall awards will be presented to the top male and female finishers in Open (all ages) and Grand Masters (50+) for both the 5k Run and the 5k Walk. Age group awards are given to the top three finishers in each bracket; the 5k Run uses many age bands from 0-12 up to 85+, while the 5k Walk uses broader bands such as 0-19, 20-29, and up to 70+. Team and family division awards are given to the top three teams or families in each event; two or more members must compete in the same event to qualify, and the two fastest times from team members are averaged to determine placement.
Pricing varies by registration date, with reduced early rates and special family pricing that includes a $3 option for children registering with an adult. Kids in the fun run receive a medal. Packet pickup times and locations are specified by the organizer. Proceeds benefit Family Service and Children's Aid, and the race is chip timed with live results.
