17th Annual Pink Pumpkin Run : Guntersville, AL
The Pink Pumpkin Run is organized by the Foundation for Marshall Medical Centers and takes place on October 31, 2026, at Guntersville Civitan Park. The event program includes running and family activities and supports local cancer care programs.

Race day activities include music, kids’ activities, photo opportunities, and a Pink Pancake Brunch. Costumes are encouraged and team entries are common; team participation is presented as a way to honor or remember someone and to represent community groups or workplaces. An awards ceremony follows the races.
Proceeds support cancer care services at Marshall Medical Centers. The primary recipient is the Mammography Assistance Program which provides financial help for women who cannot afford an annual mammogram and seeks to reduce barriers such as lost wages, transportation, or fuel costs. Funds also support care for local cancer patients.
