Christmas Classic 5K and Fun Run - Arab, AL
The Christmas Classic 5K and Fun Run take place on December 5, 2026 at Arab City Park Historical Village on City Park Drive NE in Arab, Alabama. The event is presented by Lifespring Baptist Church of Arab and includes a timed 5K and a short Fun Run for children.
- 5K (chip timed; no time limit)
- 0.6 mile Fun Run (children 12 and under; adults may accompany free)
The 5K is chip timed by Fleet Feet and will occur primarily after dark. Glow in the dark items will be distributed at packet pickup, and participants are encouraged to bring a small flashlight. Packet pickup and late registration will be at the Arab City Park Historical Village on race day from noon until 4:45 PM.
Event inclusions listed by the organizer include a race bib, a Christmas Classic T-Shirt, overall, masters and age group awards, a finish line celebration, refreshments such as hot chocolate and Christmas cookies, Christmas music and singing, and park and Historical Village holiday lights and decorations. Registration fees are stated as $30.00 for the 5K and $20.00 for the Fun Run. A T-Shirt is guaranteed for registrations received by November 22.
