Event Overview
The Pink October running event takes place in Murphy, Texas, as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Participants can take part in various distances to support funds for breast cancer research. Participation Details
Registered participants for the 5K, 10K, Half-Marathon, and 1 Mile receive an event-themed t-shirt and a custom finisher medal. The event includes age group awards for the Half-Marathon, 10K, and 5K distances. These awards are presented to the top four finishers in both male and female divisions across several age categories, ranging from age 0 to over 80.
Awards
In addition to age group prizes, awards are provided to the overall male and female winners. All awards are distributed on-site at the park during the event. Organizers do not ship medals or awards after the conclusion of the activities, so participants are responsible for verifying their results and collecting any earned prizes before leaving the venue.
