Celebration White Rock

Celebration White Rock is a running event and festival held at Winfrey Point in Dallas, Texas. The event features courses located along the shores of White Rock Lake. Participants can choose from the following distances:

• 5K Run/Walk
• 10K Run

Participants receive a chipped bib for timing, a custom finisher medal, and an event shirt, which is provided to the first 1,000 people to collect their packets. The event also includes a post-run party featuring music, food from local restaurants, and two beer tickets for participants aged 21 and over. Attendees have the opportunity to view the sunset over the lake during the festivities.

The race utilizes age and gender-based prizes for the top three runners. Additionally, the overall winners of the 5K and 10K races have their names engraved on a stone located at the spillway on the south side of White Rock Lake.

This event serves as the primary fundraiser for the White Rock Lake Conservancy, a non-profit organization that partners with the Dallas Park and Recreation Department. The proceeds from the event are designated for park improvements, specifically contributing toward a new playground in White Rock Lake Park.
