Celebration White Rock
Celebration White Rock is an annual community running event at White Rock Lake in Dallas that raises funds for the White Rock Lake Conservancy. The event includes two course distances held along the shores of the lake and a post run party with music, local food, and drinks. It is the largest fundraiser of the year for the Conservancy and supports park improvements and projects, including past work on the Stone Tables restoration and wayfinding signage.
The event takes place at Winfrey Point, 950 E Lawther Dr, Dallas, TX, on April 8, 2027. Overall winners of the race courses will have their names engraved on a stone at the spillway on the south side of White Rock Lake.
Finishing participants receive a chipped bib with a recorded time, a custom finisher medal, an event shirt, and entry to the post run party that includes two beers from local breweries, food, live music, and sponsor giveaways.
Packet pick up is available the week before at PlayTri Dallas and on race day inside the Winfrey Point building. The first 1,000 registered runners receive an event shirt. The White Rock Lake Conservancy partners with the City of Dallas Park and Recreation Department for implementation of the park master plan.
