Celebration White Rock 5K & 10K Run

Celebration White Rock is an annual running event and fundraiser held at Winfrey Point in Dallas. The event serves as the primary fundraising initiative for the White Rock Lake Conservancy, a non-profit organization that supports improvements and maintenance for White Rock Lake Park in partnership with the City of Dallas.

Participants can choose between two main distances:

• 5K Run/Walk
• 10K Run

The courses are laid out along the shores of White Rock Lake, offering views of the water and the sunset. Both distances utilize chipped bibs to record timing data. Participants who finish the run receive a custom finisher medal and an event shirt. A unique recognition is provided for the overall winners of the 5K and 10K, who have their names engraved on a stone at the lake's spillway.

The event includes a pre-run gathering with music and stretching, as well as a post-run party. Entry to the post-run celebration is included for runners and features live music, food from local restaurants, and beverages from local breweries. For those who do not wish to participate in the timed runs, a separate ticket option is available for the party only. Shuttle services are provided from the White Rock United Methodist Church to the event site at Winfrey Point to assist with transportation.
