Luck of the Irish Triathlon, Run-Bike-Run, & 5k

The Luck of the Irish event takes place in McKinney, Texas, at Life Time Fitness McKinney at Craig Ranch. This multisport event is USAT sanctioned and managed by a USAT certified race director. Participants can choose from several formats, including individual triathlons, duathlons, and relay options.

The Sprint Triathlon features a 300 meter pool swim conducted as a snake swim in a 50 meter outdoor pool, followed by a 12 mile bike consisting of two loops, and a 5k run. The Super Sprint Triathlon includes a 200 meter pool swim, a 6 mile bike loop, and a 2 mile run. For those preferring not to swim, the Run-Bike-Run duathlon consists of a 1 mile run, a 12 mile bike over two loops, and a final 5k run.

All participants in the triathlon and duathlon events must provide their own equipment, including a bike and a mandatory helmet.
