Glitter and Grit 5k/10k : Overview
Glitter and Grit 5k/10k is a female-only road running event on March 21, 2026, held in Irving, Texas (101 I-635, 75038). The event offers two distances and separate race entries for each distance. Included with participation are an optional event-themed t-shirt (extra add-on) and a finisher medal. The event provides on-course water stations, photo backdrops, and music. A post-race celebration will include refreshments and opportunities to meet other participants. Course routes are available for both distances.
Awards and volunteers
Age group awards are given three deep in multiple divisions from 0-9 through 80+. Overall awards include Overall Female, Female Masters (40+), and Female Grand Masters (60+). Awards are distributed at the event and will not be shipped. Volunteer roles are listed for packet pickup, race day check-in, and water stations.
