Pink Lady Walk 5K
Pink Lady Walk is an annual 5K run and walk held in Athens, Alabama to raise awareness and provide direct financial support to people diagnosed with breast cancer. The 2026 event is scheduled for 10/10/2026 at Big Spring Memorial Park in Athens, AL.
Since 2014 the organization has provided direct assistance to individuals and local organizations. Past support includes aid to 25 breast cancer survivors, one child with cancer, Hospice of Limestone County, the Patient Assistance Fund at The Southern Cancer Center in Huntsville, and the Joy to Life Foundation in Montgomery. Assistance is delivered through three programs: Recipient Direct, Bill Direct, and Pharmacy Direct.
The course distance is 3.10686 Miles and starts and finishes at Big Spring Memorial Park. The route runs along Beaty Street, Pryor Street, Elkton Street, Skyview Drive and Boardwalk, Shaw Street and Chandler Street, and Forrest Street before returning to the park. Race timing is provided by Bald Eagle Events.
Registration information for 2026 includes an early fee of $25.00, a same day fee of $35.00, and registration opening on 03/01/2026 and closing on 10/10/2026. T-shirt pickup is not available after September 13, 2026 and shirts are not sold separately. The event is non refundable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
