Pikes Peak Road Runners Fall Series
The Fall Series is a set of four trail races held in different city and county parks. Distances increase across the series and the courses vary from well maintained trails to rocky single track with tree roots. One course includes rocky, hilly sections and a local warning about snakes on the trail.
- 3.8 miles - Bear Creek Terrace
- 4 miles - North Monument Valley Park
- 5.5 miles - Piñon Valley Park and Ute Valley Park
- 7.4 miles - Palmer Park (Maizeland Entrance)
Entrants must be 15 years old or older. Certain items and activities are prohibited and lead to disqualification: animals, baby joggers or strollers, earbuds or headphones, bikes and trikes. The race is chip timed and all scoring is based on chip time. Awards are given only to participants who complete all four races; categories include top 5 overall male and female and top 3 in five-year age groups starting at 15-19 through 85-89. Overall award winners are not eligible for age group awards and no cash awards are offered.
Registration is online only, closes at 5:00 pm the day before each race, and there is no race day registration. A commemorative lightweight short sleeve shirt is available for an additional $17.00 plus tax in unisex sizing. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
