Colorado Springs Marathon
The Colorado Springs Marathon takes place on Saturday, October 3, 2026, in Colorado Springs, beginning and ending on Vermijo at the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum. The full marathon route heads west on Colorado Avenue, drops into America the Beautiful Park, then proceeds north on the Greenway Trail through Monument Valley Park before continuing on the Greenway and Santa Fe trails and returning the same way to the finish.
The course uses different surface types: the Greenway Trail is approximately 15 feet wide, with cement for the first mile, a section of hard pack pea gravel, and paved surfaces through portions of the Greenway and Santa Fe trails. In-person events include a finisher medal, a t-shirt, and an interactive course app. The event program includes in-person and virtual options and exhibitor space at pre-race packet pick-up and on race day.
