Pier to Pier Beach Run : Myrtle Beach, SC
The Pier to Pier Beach Run is scheduled for April 25, 2026, at the Nash Street Public Beach Access in Myrtle Beach. The event includes a beach 5K and an untimed 1 mile fun run and uses the area near the Springmaid Pier as the start and finish location.
The 5K course follows the sandy beach, passes under the Myrtle Beach State Park Pier, and goes out to a turn located about 1.55 miles from the start. All participants in the timed 5K and the fun run receive a custom finisher’s medal and a T-shirt. Registration prior to March 20, 2025, guarantees shirt size; registrations after that date cannot be guaranteed.
Parking is available at the Nash Street Public Beach Access. Additional parking may use the Double Tree Hotel garage and spaces at Shipwreck Island Adventure Golf with Coastal RTA shuttles if needed.
Packet pick-up is offered the day before at the Government and Justice Center and at the South Strand Recreation Center, with on-site packet pick-up available the morning of the event. Free refreshments will be available near the finish line.
Awards for the 5K are given to overall male and female top three and by age divisions. Awards must be collected in person; they are not mailed. Horry County employees pay an enrollment fee that is reimbursed after the race for the 5K only. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
