Event details
The Pier to Pier Beach Run takes place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, in Myrtle Beach, SC. The event includes three entries: the main Pier to Pier Beach Run, an Employee Pier to Pier Beach Run, and an untimed Pier to Pier Fun Run. The main race is a 5K held on the sandy beach, routing from the Springmaid Pier, under the Myrtle Beach State Park Pier and out to a turnaround about 1.55 miles from the start.

Registration prices shown are $35 for the 5K events and $20 for the Fun Run. The fun run requires check-in to receive a T-shirt.
Logistics and awards
Location and parking: the race site is at Nash Street Public Beach Access, 3201 Nash Street, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. Additional parking will use nearby private and public lots, and shuttles from an overflow lot are available if needed.
Packet pick-up is offered on Friday at two locations and on Saturday at the race site. The start and finish are at the same location near the Springmaid Pier. Free refreshments will be available near the finish line.
Awards: overall male and female 1st through 3rd for the 5K, plus age-division awards (0-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 plus). Recipients must be present to receive awards; awards will not be mailed. The event is organized by Horry County Parks and Recreation.
