Phoenix Kingfisher Run
The Phoenix Kingfisher Run is a timed event held at the Gravesend Cyclopark in Kent. The event uses a measured route on undulating, smooth tarmac tracks near the facility. This "road" certified course consists of an 8.5 km (approximately 5.25 mile) out-and-back loop.
Participants have a total time limit of seven hours to complete their chosen distance. The flexible format allows runners to decide on the day how many laps they wish to complete. Available distances based on the lap structure include:
- 5.25 miles (one lap)
- 10.5 miles
- Half Marathon
- Marathon
- Ultra Marathon
The event features an aid station and provides same-day digital results, athlete profiles, and digital finishers' certificates. Entry options are available with or without a physical medal. For those selecting the standard entry, a bespoke giant spinning medal is awarded to all finishers.
The minimum distance required to be considered a finisher is one full lap of 5.25 miles. Due to UK Athletics rules, specific distance restrictions apply to participants aged 20 or under. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
