Phoenix Running Hampshire - Dolly Run
The event is a timed out-and-back run along the Itchen Way in Winchester, based at Garnier Road Car Park. The course crosses Hockley Viaduct, has been professionally measured and holds a Road Permit. The format allows repeated laps within a seven hour time limit, with bespoke finisher medals for participants.
The event is organised to celebrate Dolly Parton's birthday and fancy dress is encouraged to reflect different decades. An aid station provides sweet and savoury items, including a signature potato offering, with plenty of vegan options.
Parking is available a short three minute walk away at the St. Catherine's Park & Ride (East Winchester), postcode SO23 9NP. Parking charges apply on Saturdays; fees stated for the event are £3.50 for the day or £1.80 for up to three hours. Payment can be made via Ringo or contactless payment.
Entry fees listed are £37.95 for affiliated runners and £39.95 for unaffiliated runners. Special start time requirements can be requested with the organisers. As a timed event, participants may choose how many laps to complete within the time limit; all entrants receive a physical memento.
