Event Information

The event is called Phoenix Running Devon - Hound of the Baskervilles, part of a 'Dartmoor Myths & Legends' series. It takes place at Mill Marsh Park in Bovey Tracey, Devon.

Course Details

The run starts in Mill Marsh Park and follows an out-and-back route along the Wray Valley Trail. This path goes through the Parke Estate next to the River Bovey. The terrain is a riverside footpath, described as off-road trail. Each lap covers 5.3 km (3.28 miles) with an elevation gain of 31 meters.

Race Format

Runners can choose from 5 km to ultra marathon distances. Participants complete as many laps as they wish within a 7-hour time limit. The minimum distance is one lap (3.28 miles). There is a flexible 'rock up and run' start time system. Participants can begin their run upon arrival without a fixed wave start.

Registration and Entry

Registration is required in advance. Entry fees are £33 for affiliated runners and £35 for unattached runners. The total number of participants is limited to 50. On-the-day entry is not available.
