Event Details
The Phoenix Running Devon - Hound of the Baskervilles event is part of the 'Dartmoor Myths & Legends' and 'Run Your Wray' series. It takes place on a date in June. The event starts at Mill Marsh Park in Bovey Tracey, Devon. The route follows the Wray Valley Trail through the Parke Estate along the River Bovey.
Course and Format
The course is an out-and-back trail along the Wray Valley Trail. Each lap is 5.3 km (3.28 miles). Participants can choose to run from a minimum of one lap up to an ultra marathon distance within the 7-hour time limit. The terrain is a riverside footpath with minimal elevation gain per lap. Entry is limited to 50 runners, with no on-the-day entry available.
Participation
The event uses a flexible 'rock up and run' start time, meaning runners can begin when they are ready within the event window.
