Event overview
The Dartmoor Discovery (DD) is an ultra marathon organised by Teignbridge Trotters Running Club. The race is a single-lap road ultra of 32 miles on Dartmoor, starting and finishing at Princetown Community Centre, PL20 6RF, on 6 June 2026. The course has a course accuracy certificate and holds an Association of Running Clubs race permit No. ARC/26/0077. The event is open to entrants aged 20 to 99 on the race date.
Entry, limits and awards
Entry fees vary by booking period, with early-bird and later prices listed for affiliated and unaffiliated entrants. The race has a 275 runner limit and has sold out in 11 of the previous 13 years. There is a 6 3/4 hour race cut-off. Prizes include cash for new overall course records and awards across male, female and veteran categories, team prizes, and newcomer awards.

There are 10 drink stations where personal drinks can be left at 9 locations. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and a technical t-shirt.
