Phillip's Cottage 5k
The event takes place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Phillip's Cottage, 217 W. Union Street, Minden, LA 71055. The program includes the following events:

- Fun Run
- Sleep In Supporter
All proceeds benefit Phillip's Cottage, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides transitional housing to women with children who have graduated from Louisiana Adult & Teen Challenge. Funds are used to support the residents, maintain the house and property, and cover operational expenses throughout the year.
Registration fees change after April 7, 2026. Registrations made on or before April 7 include a t-shirt with the listed early fee. A Sleep In Supporter registration is available for a fee and includes shipping of the t-shirt to the address provided on the form.
Packet and t-shirt pick-up is available at Phillip's Cottage in the days prior to the event and on race day at the location.
Awards for the 5k include a cash prize for the first-place overall male and female finishers. First and second place finishers in each age group receive a trophy. Age groups are: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
Course rules state that strollers, wagons, baby joggers, and hand-pushed or pulled vehicles are permitted only at walking pace. In-line skates and roller skates are not allowed, and runners pushing baby strollers are not permitted on the run course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
