Event Overview
The PGB 5K Aloha Run is a running and community event taking place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, in Huntsville, Alabama. The event features three different activities: a 5K run/walk/roll, a Warrior Keiki SuperHeroes vs Villains kids' event for participants aged 12 and under, and a virtual 5K option.
Location & Logistics
The event is based at the KBR Building on Redstone Gateway in Huntsville. Packet pickup is available the day before the event at RunningLane (2407 Memorial Parkway SW, Huntsville) from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and also on race day at the KBR Building starting at 6:00 AM. Organizers encourage in-person participants to pick up their packets at RunningLane.
Pricing & Registration
Registration pricing follows a tiered schedule:
- $30 until October 31 (t-shirt guaranteed)
- $35 from November 1 to May 31 (t-shirt guaranteed)
- $40 from June 1 to August 31 (t-shirt available while supplies last)
- $45 from September 1 until race day (t-shirt not guaranteed)
The kids' SuperHeroes vs Villains event is free. The virtual 5K option costs $40, which includes shipping for the bib, shirt, and medal after the event.
Charitable Mission
A unique feature of this event is that participants can direct $10 of their registration fee to support one of several local organizations. These include groups focused on veterans, children's cancer care, community arts, and support for diabetes and JROTC programs.
