PGB 5K ALOHA Run - Huntsville
The PGB 5K ALOHA Run is a community athletic event held in Huntsville, Alabama. The main venue for the event is the KBR Building at Redstone Gateway. Participants have the option to run, walk, or roll through the course. The event features several distinct categories for participation:
- Project Giveback 5K
- PGB Warrior Keiki SuperHeroes vs Villains Event (for ages 12 and under)
- VIRTUAL Project Giveback 5K
The virtual option is available for those unable to attend in person, with bibs, shirts, and medals shipped to participants after the event date. A unique aspect of this race is the charitable contribution model, where participants can assign $10 of their registration fee to a specific organization or program from a designated list. These organizations support various causes, including veteran programs, youth music initiatives, and medical foundations.
Packet pickup is organized at RunningLane on the day before the race, or at the KBR Building on the morning of the event. While registration is available online leading up to the race, there is no registration available on the actual event date. T-shirts are included for those who register by certain deadlines, subject to availability for later registrants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
