Rocket City Marathon Race Weekend : Huntsville, AL
The Rocket City Marathon Race Weekend takes place Saturday December 13 to Sunday December 14, 2025 in downtown Huntsville, Alabama. The event base is the Von Braun Center area, 700 Monroe Street SW, Huntsville, AL 35801. The weekend includes a Health & Fitness Expo and packet pickup that opens Friday, December 12 and runs through Saturday, December 13. The marathon course passes the US Space & Rocket Center and the half marathon route goes by the Botanical Gardens and the US Space & Rocket Center. The 10K course is described as flat, fast, and walker-friendly through Old Town.

Entry fees and participant items
Listed entry fees in the event information include: Marathon $145, Half Marathon $115, 10K $60, 5K $50, 1 Mile $25, Virtual Marathon $65, Virtual Half Marathon $65. All registered runners receive a long-sleeve race shirt, a finisher medal, and post-race food. Marathon and half marathon finishers receive a special finisher gift. Participants who complete the Hat Trick by doing the 5K, 10K, and either the half or full marathon earn three signature RCM T-shirts, three medals, and a custom Rocket City Marathon hat.
