Peterhead 10k
Peterhead 10k is a road race on 1 November 2026 that starts and finishes at Catto running track in Peterhead. The event is organised by Peterhead Athletics Club under UK Athletics rules and held under a Scottish Athletics permit on a certified, accurately measured course (UK Association of Course Measurers cert no. 21/345).
The event is a chip timed 10k with a maximum of 250 places; there is no entry on the day. The race is open to runners aged 16 years or older. Medals are awarded to all finishers. Prize categories include overall male and female winners, U20 winners, and first to third places in senior and V40, V50, V60 and V70 age groups for both sexes.
A race briefing will be held at the start to cover safety. The route runs mainly on pavements with numerous road crossings and the roads on the route are not closed to traffic. Headphones are not permitted during the race except bone conducting devices in line with Scottish Athletics regulations. Registration is based at Catto Park Pavilion. Car parking is available at Balmoor Stadium and Peterhead Academy. Prizegiving and post race refreshments take place at Peterhead Scout Hut.
