Event Overview
Peterhead Athletics Club organizes a series of running events at the Lido in Peterhead. The event is officially licensed by Scottish Athletics. It is part of a series held on one Saturday per month from April to September.
Races
The event features two race formats:
- A 3K race, starting at 11 am.
- A Junior Mile race, divided into Under 12s and Under 16s categories. These junior races start from 10 am.
Participants must keep the same race number for the entire series. Race numbers can be collected on the day of the event at a specified location near the Peterhead Marina Bay caravan site.
Series Details
The series results are based on the fastest accumulated times from a runner's three best performances. Prizes are awarded in various categories based on the overall series standings.
Registration and Fees
Entry is by pre-registration only; no entries are accepted on the day. The entry fee for the 3K is £2 per race plus a 50p administration fee. The entry fee for the Junior Mile is £1 per race plus a 50p administration fee. Participants must register separately for each race in the series.
