Event Overview
The Peterhead 3K & Junior Mile Series for 2026 is organised by Peterhead Athletics Club and takes place at the Lido in Peterhead. It is an SA Licensed event. The series consists of races on one Saturday each month from April to September.
Races and Schedule
There are two main race categories.
- A 3K race for all ages.
- A Junior Mile with separate events for Under 12s and Under 16s.
For the specific event on 20 June 2026, the Junior Mile races start at 10:00, and the 3K race starts at 11:00.
Entry and Series Details
Pre-entry is required; no entries are taken on the day. Participants must register for each individual race in the series. The entry fee for the 3K is £2.00 per race plus a 50p administration fee. For the Junior Mile, the fee is £1.00 per race plus a 50p administration fee.
Participants keep the same race number for the entire series. Numbers are collected on the day of each event at a specified small car parking area along the road from the Peterhead Marina Bay caravan site office building.
Overall series standings are based on the fastest accumulated times from three races. Prizes are awarded in various categories for the overall series. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
